Is the crash-on-resume bug fixed in this update? I installed Chax on my girlfriend and family's laptops, but they won't stop complaining about iChat crashing now..

Is there any possible way to integrate Google Chat's new invisible feature into iChat? Is that even possible? PS- Thanks for the amazing work on the groups in unified contacts list. You are amazing.

Yikes! Crash on resume every single time with 2.1.2b2, it wasn't that bad with 2.1.1. I also just experienced a kernel panic using iChat with this beta, so I'm going back to 2.1.1. If it helps, I'm using 2 different Google Apps for my Domain accounts and an AIM account. Thanks for Chax, I couldn't use iChat without it!

A great feature to add would to be able to remove mobile buddies from the buddylist. They are ultra annoying, and fill up my buddylist.

One thing I missed about chax in tiger was the tabs on the bottom. I know that might be a bit harder to pull off again in leopard, but one thing about it was I could see when someone was typing when it was tabbed, and I can't tell when its tabbed on leopard's ichat. Can you whip up something to show someone is typing?

Yet I have some substantial expansions, which many people lack in iChat. Saving of at least 4 last written messages in chat after reopening the window at least after 4 hours Meta contacts support - for more protocols MSN/ICQ/gtalk like in Adium Support for Apple Scripts - like Adium/iTunes Options of HUD background in the message windows and the contact list ( Viewing the number of unread messages in the dock icon like in Adium X Hotkey/shortcut/button for transferring the song currently being played in iTunes -

Hi please create future for ease send actual playing song on iTunes. And more optimize for stable. This beta is unstable...

iChat will always (!) crash when I close a window with two or more bonjour tabs.

Glad to see that Chax is still under development! We told you there was still room for Chax in an iChat 4 world. Stability is pretty good on my MacBook Pro (Core 2, Mac OS X 10.5.2). There's the occasional crash now and then, but nothing I'd consider to be a deal-breaker. Anyway, here's a bug report for you: occasionally, some of my AIM buddies won't show up in the unified contact list. Right now, one of my friends is away in iChat's AIM window, but she's not even listed in the Contacts window -- not even if I turn on Show Offline Buddies.

great job on this but why does chax still uninstall by itself for me?

Greg at 2008-05-06 15:50:51 -0400

wonderful program. makes iChat much more usable. feature request: ability to hide my contact list (like the dock, or adium) so when you hit the edge of the screen, it reappears and a question about the unified contact list that hopefully someone can answer. I have two AIM accounts and I am logged into both. When I click on a contact to chat, how do I choose which account I want to chat from? I dont see this option, the chat just starts. Thanks!

Great tool - thanks! It would be nice to set the default to "always on top." Don't like have to reset this for each window individually.

Eric at 2008-05-12 03:48:50 -0400

If you discover some method to integrate Facebook chat into iChat, I will cry tears of joy. Adium just accomplished this (somehow), and so I wish you luck on your endeavor. By the way, here's $10. More on the way.

Anything further on OTR support in Chax?
