Yes, there is tabbed browsing, but the tabs are on the side (VERY annoying) and switching between tabs is controlled by command + [ (or ]). I much preferred the control with command plus arrow keys. And I also liked my tabs on top with the name and a tiny icon, not the normal sized buddy icon PLUS the name to the left. Hopefully Chax will come out with something to fix this in the new iChat, otherwise I'll be switching back to Adium. Just installed Leopard and I do not iChat 4.0 that well.
