Chax 1.4.3 Beta 3

The log viewer should (finally) work with logs in languages other than English. Nothing else is new, just more minor fixes that most people probably won’t ever even notice.

Changes from 1.4.3 beta 2

  • (Feature improvement) Log viewer will now work in any language
  • (Bugfix) Old iChat 2 logs now display properly in the log viewer
  • (Bugfix) Fixed a problem where typing a reply into a new message window with tabs enabled could case the tab window to resize infinitely
  • (Bugfix) Other minor bugfixes related to tabs
  • Improvements to the sizing of the more info floating window

    Any logs older than April 24, 2006, show up as Dec 31, 1903, 7:00PM.

    I don’t think this was an issue until i upgraded to beta 3 of 1.4.3.

    Feature request:

    When you have an away message up and get kicked off, iChax should put the away message back up when it signs you back on.

    hey man i just love your app. thanks for all the hard work.

    if possible i would love to see the semi transparent initial window show up for new chats when tabs are disabled. i love the tabs sometimes, but when i dont use them, i really miss that initial pop up.

    let me know what you can do! appreciate it.

    Any chance to make the “Floting Windows” user sizable? Or make it bigger?

    Lastly, any chance of adding a feature that will make the user icon appear LARGER when conducting a text chat?
